Sitefinity Release Notes: June 4, 2025

We are pleased to share the following updates for our June 4, 2025 Sitefinity code release:
Updates to Strategic Projects
- Transition to Sitefinity Cloud preparations:
- The procurement process is complete. We’re now working with Progress to begin the testing/planning phase.
Enhancements to Current Functionality
- Hero Carousel:
- We've introduced a new option that allows images in the hero carousel to play in a continuous loop. “Auto-play slideshow on page load” must be selected for new functionality to work properly.
- Call to Action Button:
- We’ve implemented a user experience improvement so that if the “Title” and “Button link” fields are not filled in, the button will not appear, which was previously causing confusion for site editors.
- SOM request:
- CU Doctors has been rebranded to CU Medicine Profile so the related Web Bio links have been updated to reflect the new name.

- SOM: Physiology
- Custom content type filtering options have been created by request.
Accessibility Improvements
- Mask Opacity updates for Card and Enhanced Card widgets:
- Slight updates to the opacity overlay to help with contrast and these should now meet WCAG standards.
- Web Bio Table View:
- This view was showing an empty contact details column, if empty, which should now not display.
