ICB Book Club

English Instructor Matthew Jellick has started a Book Club for students in the  in Beijing  Meeting bi-weekly at a local coffeehouse in Beijing, students and faculty discuss complex character development as well as issues which shape the story, including relationship dynamics, social dichotomies, and economic mobility. The offers students an opportunity to address topics that aren’t always talked about in an academic classroom, providing an arena for authentic language development as well as critical thinking skill sets. A major goal of the club is to provide a platform where the readings lead to respectful communication and cultural understanding.

CAU Student Union

The ICB Students Union is part of the CAU Students Union. It provides the efficient bridge between students and university. Besides being a connector, the Students Union also organizes myriad of activities for enriching students’ life, such as Language Corner, New Year Party, Psychology Salon, Halloween Party, Basketball Match, Academic Salon, etc.
