Grant Overview
The IRC Faculty Professional Development Grant provides financial support for instructional, research and clinical faculty at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó to engage in activities that enhance their professional skills and contributions to the university.
Note: This fund is for faculty on the Downtown Denver Campus only. This fund is currently closed and will reopen in AY 2025-26 pending budgetary approval.
✅ Eligible Activities
Presenting at or attending conferences Professional development workshops or certifications Books, software, or equipment for teaching/research Unit-wide IRC faculty development initiatives
🎯 Who Can Apply
Faculty Applicants: For PD activities aligned with contract duties PhD Students (IRC Faculty): Only if the activity enhances classroom teaching Administrators: Must support IRC faculty and provide matching funds
💰 Funding Details
- Maximum Award: $1,000 per academic year
- Application Rounds:
- Round 1 Deadline: October 31, 2025
- Round 2 Deadline: December 13, 2025
- Total Annual Fund: $20,000
- Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of the deadline. Funds must be spent by June 1st of the fiscal year.
