All new international students studying in F or J status, including any transfers from other U.S. institutions, must complete the ISSS Immigration Course (F-1 & J-1 Students) in Canvas.
ISSS requires students to complete the ISSS Immigration Course to ensure that everyone understands how to maintain their immigration status. Please if you have any questions about how to maintain your F or J immigration status.

Please complete the ISSS Immigration Course for your campus. The course discusses a range of important topics, including:
ISSS will place a hold on your student account in your first semester if you are an F-1 or J-1 student and do not complete the ISSS Immigration Course. The registration hold will prevent you from adding classes for the current semester or registering for future semesters. Please contact ISSS@ucdenver.edu if you have completed the course and have a hold from ISSS.
There is a specific ISSS Immigration Course for each campus. Please review your I-20 or DS-2019 if you are not certain which course to complete.
Once you know which course to complete, click on the button below for your campus’s ISSS Immigration Course. Clicking the button will enroll you in the immigration course on Canvas.
